School Hours Friendship Collegiate Academy Online is a full-time virtual online program where academics are completed in the home environment with an adult in the home serving as the learning coach. School Uniform Required. About this school Students can meet up to two days a week at the designated Friendship campus for academic support and college planning. All students are natural scientists and engineers.
Students will participate in competitions throughout the school year. This club is for students who love to question, tinker, experiment and play. VEX competitions foster these skills and capitalize on the motivational effects of competitions and robotics to help all students create an identity as a STEM learner. Students will also gain valuable soft skills like communication, collaboration and time-management in a fun and authentic way.
Students will read books throughout the school year and come together virtually to demonstrate their abilities and to test their knowledge of the books they have read. This club is for all students that enjoy singing. Being in this club will give students the opportunity to sing many different styles of music, either alone or as part of an ensemble, on a weekly basis.
Youth Auxiliary will provide young men unique opportunities to exemplify leadership skills; social and cultural awareness; and personal development. The goal is to provide quality dance instruction for all students who participate, regardless of skill-level. Dance promotes strong self-confidence, self-respect, discipline, and appreciation through the fine arts of dance. Model UN is a simulation of the UN General Assembly and its other multilateral bodies where students perform an ambassador role while debating topics such as gender equality, climate action, global health, and more.
FBLA helps high school students prepare for careers in business through academic competitions FBLA Competitive Events , leadership development, and educational programs. This club encourages students to attend college and pursue technical degrees. Students can also receive college application information including how to get into college, financial aid information, etc. Good mental health is important to everyone — children, youth, and adults.
This club gives students an opportunity to learn how to achieve and keep good mental health during these challenging times. The Student Government Association SGA is designed to foster leadership skills, encourage school spirit, and teach democratic principles among Collegiate Academy students. As a student -run organization that represents the entire student body, SGA allows students to express concerns and take a stand on important issues.
The Chess Club is designed to give students an opportunity to learn the game of chess or improve their chess skills. In addition, students will compete in online tournaments. Chess helps develop critical-thinking skills and encourages good sportsmanship. Virtual Job Shadow will help motivate students to take control of their futures by planning for a career today. This club provides engaging job shadowing and career advice videos that take career exploration to a whole new level by connecting academics to the real world.

This club is designed to inspire students to pursue careers in the field of cybersecurity and other STEM fields. Cyber careers are high-demand and high-paying.
